The Boy Scouts of America is a large organization that touches many lives. For many people across America, being a Boy Scout is part of everyday life. Unfortunately, in addition to teaching about camping and the outdoors, the Boy Scouts of America also communicates an anti-LGBT message as part of their official policy.Howard Ross, Chief Learning Officer of Cook Ross Inc., is a Straight for Equality Gala co-chair, and he has written a great blog post on the Boy Scouts of America’s anti-LGBT policy.
