Tell Governor Brown to Sign the FAIR Education Act Today!

The FAIR (Fair, Accurate, Inclusive, and Respectful) Education Act recently passed the California Senate and Assembly. The bill now goes to Governor Brown for his signature. It ensures that history classes teach about the contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) Americans, and it would also ensure that LGBT people are never represented negatively in classrooms just because they are LGBT.

Anti-equality organizations like the California Family Council and the Capitol Resource Institute are mobilizing their bases, trying to convince the Governor to veto the bill. We can only keep the Governor's support with your help. We have to show him that we care about this issue even more than our opponents do.

Take action today and let Governor Brown know how important it is to you that students learn about the historical contributions of LGBT people.
